After earning her BA in English with Creative Writing Emphasis from the University of Washington, Amy C. Abadilla began taking pictures as a means to generate short story plots & locations. Since then, the pictures themselves became the stories.

Ms. Abadilla lives and works in Seattle. She currently is a graduate student with San Jose State University's School of Library & Information Science, and a very part-time student at the Photographic Center Northwest.

Her photographic influences include Berenice Abbott, Michael Kenna, and Judith Turner.

All photos on this web site are scanned from actual photos or negatives. Different sizes are available; she'd love to hear from you if you have a particular liking for an image.
