DJ Clarise's sets are posted here. Enjoy the sound!
I found this one while looking for online film development charts. Definitely one to check out if you are of the earth-friendly types.
This web site is of my fellow darkroom-mate, Nicki Scott. Our work is similar, too!
Now, why put a semi-obscure British pop/electronica band on my links? Because, as I've told band member Bob Stanley backstage after a show, "Your music has consistently saved my life." He responded, "Well, it makes it all the more worthwhile, eh?"
My online supplier of photo supplies, based in New York. Please note: B & H actually operates like an old-school business, meaning that they hold human-scale business hours, not 24/7/365.
This web site is of my fellow Co-Chair @ QArts, Michelle Salazar. One most important note: she indirectly referred me to my web host, OtherPeoplesPixels. Thanks, Michelle!
An old coworker of mine, metalsmith amy tavern has made silver jewelry for a bit. The lead singer of Evanescence even wore one of her pieces to the Grammys in 2004.
Ah, yes, where my artistic endeavours all began... This store has been my prior employer, as well as my constant supplier of art, photo, and other supplies for years. Where else can you get the one pen, without having to buy the whole box o' dozen, and then go run upstairs to get a fabulous bargain book or calendar?
My local photo supplier... when deadlines loom overhead oh-so-quickly.
Hey--who said astrology was hokey? There's something to be said about realizing why you're having an artistic block: the stars & planets affect us, indeed.
Meditation? Photography? From where I stand, yes: the connection is as strong as undiluted stop bath. The Center was founded by my first Insight Meditation teacher, Robert Beatty, whom I had the opportunity to sit and learn from @ a retreat on Whidbey Island, just north of Seattle. Namaste.
Local frame shop, and one of two of my main suppliers for mat boards & substrates for framed work.
Art supplies you need @ discount prices. Need I say more?
Jeweller Sally Brock is the matriarch of Fancy (jewels), (funny under-) Pants, and co-conspirator for Schmancy (quirky toys). Her shop has been featured in Lucky magazine.
This is website of Star Trek novelist Jeff Ayres. It has a super-cool picture on it, which is from his newest book, "Voyages of Imagination: The Star Trek Companion."
This non-profit, volunteer-run gallery has been around for more than 20 years. They are regularly featured in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and in Art Access: the Seattle-based directory of fine art galleries. I am a newly appointed member to this really great space. (Three floors of display space! Amazing!)
Excellent photography of the Seattle Electronica Scene, as well as erotica.
