The image to your left is one of three that will be on display at climate/gallery in New York. My work will be shown alongside nine other artists during the month of March, entitled Zeros + Ones:The Digital Era.

An exciting time, indeed: my first showing on the East Coast! If you are on the East Coast, please stop by. climate/gallery is located at 37-24 24th St., Ste. 406, Long Island City, NY, 11101. Their website is here.

To quote Al Pacino in The Godfather, Part Three:Just when I thought I was out, they pull me right back in. In the case of photography: you can pull me back in, anytime... just let me get my camera first!

After earning her BA in English with Creative Writing Emphasis from the University of Washington, Amy C. Abadilla began taking pictures as a means to generate short story plots & locations. Since then, the pictures themselves became the stories.

Ms. Abadilla lives and works in Seattle. She currently is a graduate student with San Jose State University's School of Library & Information Science, and a very part-time student at the Photographic Center Northwest.

Her photographic influences include Berenice Abbott, Michael Kenna, and Judith Turner.

All photos on this web site originate from one of the following formats: actual photos, scanned film negatives, scanned Instant Film photos, or digital files. Different sizes are available; she'd love to hear from you if you have a particular liking for an image.

Thank you for visiting! Hope you enjoy what you see.
